The exhibition "Eight + 1" presents the creative works of eight women engaged in free painting - Ramunė Vaitkevičienė, Asta Adamonytė, Aušra Kazlauskienė, Diana Strautniekienė, Giedrė Švedienė, Jurga Alminienė, Natalija Abramovič and Natalja Lapina. These, created during the last six months, while deepening painting knowledge, broadening color hearing and diligently working on a new, different problematic task. The exhibited works, like each member of the group, are distinguished by a distinctive drawing, a bright or subdued color relationship, an expressive, lyrical or realistic style, a different choice of perspective, sometimes even a specific picture format. In the general exhibition, even the same motif is revealed in different meanings, acquires unusual features and moods, through which one can appreciate or at least feel the individuality and originality of each member of the group. Next to their works, the painter Vita Opolskytė-Brazdžiūnienė, who communicates with the group of artists and curates this exhibition, reveals her vision of the world in this exhibition not only with paintings, but also with remarks and comments made to eight enthusiasts.

Exhibition curator: V. Opolskytė-Brazdžiūnienė

The exhibition will be open until February 28.
