February 24 more than 200 participants marched around Elektrėnai. The public health office of the Elektrėnai municipality, together with the Elektrėnai tourism information center, organized a walking tour in the vicinity of Elektrėnai, "Winter Walk 2024". The event was intended to promote social movement, introduce the Elektrėnai region, and celebrate February - the month of wellness. The hike had everything: stunning natural views, places to visit and many physically active participants who came from all over Lithuania. Hikers could try their hand at the short 10-kilometer course and the long 19-kilometer course. All participants started marching from the "Children's World" of Elektrėnai. The staff of the public health office of the Elektrėnai municipality was located at the starting point together with the Elektrėnai tourism information center and the Elektrėnai youth center. While some participants were registering, others could try the activities offered by the Elektrėnai Youth Center and the Public Health Office, such as a health quiz, various outdoor games, or replenish their energy by tasting the healthy green cocktails of the Elektrėnai Youth Center. "Winter Hike 2024" bingo games for children were also distributed - the little hikers looked for objects located in the vicinity of Elektrėnai, which were depicted in the bingo game. We also thank the partners of the event: Elektrėnai Youth Center, Elektrėnai Municipality Public Library, VšĮ Abromiškii Rehabilitation Hospital, Elektrėnai Fire Rescue Service, Trakai Branch of the Lithuanian Hunters' Union, Elektrėnai Municipality Sports Center, thanks to which feasts, education, exhibitions awaited the hikers at each of the resting points. familiarization with the activities and services provided by the organizations.
