Marius Paulikas is a designer, sound artist, film composer and sound director from Kaunas. Founder of the electronic and experimental music projects "spectral" and "entropija", member of the groups "BrainMonk" and "Analogika", author of soundscapes and sound installations. In his work, he explores the intersections of different genres and media - the boundaries of music and noise, composition and improvisation. He pays special attention to the transformations of environmental sounds and the "here and now" experience through hearing.

The idea of the work:

The street here is perceived as a living body – with its own voice, breathing and rhythm. People, cars, wind and time move across its surface, leaving their own sound traces. Marius Paulikas invites you to stop and listen to the environment. Using a multi-channel sound system, the street “speaks” with its own sounds – the roar of cars, the resonance of metal structures, the vibrations of high-voltage wires and the rhythm of architecture. The installation invites you to experience space through hearing and discover the often unnoticed sound layers hidden in everyday life.
