On September 11-12, Elektrėnai will once again become the rally capital of Lithuania.
“Rally Elektrėnai” is not only a rally competition, but also a real celebration for the entire rally community – both athletes and spectators. The exceptionally beautiful Elektrėnai region is famous for its technical, exciting and special relief speed sections, winding between hundreds of hills, lakes and ponds. Racers appreciate this rally for its working, characteristic and fun tracks, and spectators – for its impressive views: there is no shortage of emotions here, neither in the turns, nor on the hills, nor at the largest jumps. Another advantage of “Rally Elektrėnai” is its excellent location and compactness. In one day, you can see as much rally action here as is rarely possible in other stages. This year, watching the rally will be even more convenient. The organizers will install special spectator zones in the most iconic places of the track, which will be convenient to reach by car. They will have all the infrastructure necessary for comfortable rally watching and, of course, great places to watch the most impressive sports battles. However, the action will not end when the engines of the racing cars turn off. On Friday evening, the rally opening ceremony in Elektrėnai will be crowned by a concert by the band “Šeškės”, and on Saturday, the awards ceremony will be decorated with a performance by the artist MIA and an impressive fireworks show. Traditionally, the rally opening ceremony, the city special stage, awards and evening concerts in Elektrėnai will be free of charge for spectators. The rally community will meet in special spectator zones. Tickets to them cost 15 EUR, and during the week of the rally the price will increase to 20 EUR. Information about the rally, special stages, spectator zones, program and participants will be published on the “Rally Elektrėnai” Facebook account and “Autorally.lt” as the event approaches.
