"We want residents and guests of the city of Elektrėnai to experience the emotions of good music, so we invite you to become witnesses of musical history. During the jam session, the musicians will play here and now, so it's no secret that legendary musical phrases are born from time to time during impromptu playing," says the festival's organizer, the Elektrėnai Culture Center.
- The first day of the festival is dedicated to blues, and well-known and young blues artists such as Konstantin B., Audrius Azguridis and the group "Dinosaurs", group "Age", group "Let Alone", Virgilijus Jutas and the group "Bluesmakers" will appear on stage. Aleksandr Belkin and "Beatles'n'Jazz and Blues" and Gary Moore Tribute Band feat. Jack Moore. Blues day starts at 5 p.m. Elektrėnai amphitheater.
- The second day of the festival, dedicated to jazz, will be opened by the winners of the "Lightning Lights" competition. This is an annual festival-competition of young performers of international jazz - popular (close to jazz) music, organized by the Elektrėnai Art School, whose winners get the opportunity to perform on the big stage of the Elektrėnai Blues and Jazz Festival. The young musicians will take the stage at 4:00 p.m. Immediately after them, the jazz orchestra (big band) led by Eugenijus Vedeck will perform. At the festival, he will perform the latest works of his program together with singer Augusta Žičkutas, students and graduates of the Vilnius Juoz Tallat-Kelpšas Conservatory and participants of "The Magic Time Orchestra". As the festival gets underway, guests from abroad will appear on stage - double bass player Ian Quinton Banno, who hails from the North East coast of the USA, drummer Héctor L. Falu Guzman from Puerto Rico and Lithuanian jazz pianist Domas Žeromskas. This energetic, colorful and youthful trio presents Dom's new creations and musical discoveries, combining contemporary and traditional jazz fashions, gospel and soul music, Baltic and Caribbean folklore and African rhythms. At around 19:00, the "Home" program will be presented by the Veronika ChiChi quintet. The new program surprises with its warmth and beauty and draws you into a magical, enchanting world. In it, meaningful and experienced texts are organically combined with the soft and fragile rhythms of jazz and Brazilian music, as well as with the sparkling and bright flavors of Latin American and Afro music. Especially for this concert, Veronika gathered a special team, in which, in addition to the regular virtuosos of their instruments, D. Golovanov and A. Gotesman, who are well known to the Lithuanian audience, guests from Latvia and Luxembourg will also play together. Later, Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė's band "KJ collective", who became the voice of Lithuania in 2016, will perform. Jazz standards, Lithuanian folk songs, contemporary music works, original compositions and arrangements are the main companions of the program. Together with Kotryna, Karolis Šarkus - saxophone, Andrius Savčenko - keyboards, Artūrs Duckis - bass guitar and Augustas Baronas - percussion will appear on stage.
