The public health office of the Elektrėnai municipality together with the Elektrėnai tourism information center organized an impressive event - "Summer hike 2023". This event, which took place in one of the most beautiful villages in Lithuania - Grabijolai, attracted great interest and attracted both local residents and visitors from other cities and municipalities.
Participants had the opportunity to test their strength by choosing one of two routes - 4 kilometers or 16 kilometers. Although the distance of 4 kilometers may seem small, this route featured many challenges that the hikers had to overcome. Starting with steep uphills and downhills, participants tested their efforts and endurance. Winding roads that beckoned to watch every step added an extra dose of challenge. One of the biggest challenges was abseiling. The participants bravely and safely descended from a high point, experiencing an extremely interesting jump of adrenaline. Despite the humid climate, which is typical for summer in Lithuania, the participants showed their endurance and perseverance. All these challenges were rewarded by the wonderful natural views that the hikers enjoyed while completing the course. Healing forests, pleasant meadows and flowing streams helped hikers get closer to nature and take a breather from everyday city life. The support and participation of other hikers should also be mentioned. At the event, like-minded groups, families and friends encouraged and thanked each other for their support and help in overcoming challenges. Cooperation and fellowship made this event even more memorable. The Elektrėnai "Summer Walk 2023" became not only a test of physical activity, but also a great way to get to know the beautiful nature of Lithuania and meet like-minded people who like challenges and an active lifestyle. This event drew attention to the municipality of Elektrėnai and the village of Grabijolė as places worth visiting and try your hand at those who love adventure and the beauty of nature.
