The General Meeting of the Lithuanian Association of Tourism Information Centers approved the 2020 financial and activity reports, new members joined the association

LTICA's financial and activity reports were approved at the remote general meeting of members of the Lithuanian Association of Tourism Information Centers held today. Mantas Sabaliauskas, the director of the Lazdijai Tourism Information Center, who has been leading the association for more than a year, was presenting the 2020 The activities of the association were pleased that the LTICA community is very united, the members are willing to make suggestions on various issues related to tourism, and actively participate in the activities carried out by the association. “I am especially pleased that last year our association actively participated in discussing issues related to the tourism sector in the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, other institutions, provided reasoned and rational proposals, to the formulation of which each LTICA member contributed. I am also very pleased that last year LTICA implemented a large-scale project, during which it created and approved the new logo of the association, organized trainings for the employees and managers of the members of the association. Turning over the years in the activities of the association, I can confidently say that the strength of LTICA is in unity, ”said the President of LTICA during the general meeting. The active activities of LTICA last year attracted the attention of as many as four institutions engaged in the dissemination of tourism information, therefore we are very pleased that our ranks have further expanded during the general meeting.

JKC Jonava Culture Center, Pakruojis Tourism, Elektrėnai Culture Center and Visaginas Tourism Development Center became the new members of LTICA after the unanimous vote. Congratulations to the new members of LTICA and we hope that the activities of the association in 2021 will be no less productive.
