Sigita Mockutė "Living Heart" | Exhibition

The "Spirit Animals" series created in 2020 - 2021 are exhibited at the exhibition, which also became the theme of the 2022 calendar.

These twelve animals each carry a different message. They symbolize the spirit that helps and protects us in this beautiful journey of life and whose qualities we share or embody. If we let ourselves in, hear their silent guidance, they would help us go through life a little easier, with more faith and confidence. Other works are also dominated by nature, man and their uninterrupted, harmonious presence. The calmer and more restrained harmonies of colors in the horizons of the native land teach us to hear the silence, the beauty resounding in it. Appearing in the monotonous tones of the cold period, many subtle beauties open up, which fill and enrich the inner oceans of colors of the soul.
