Traditional #BeActive European Sports Week event in Elektrėnai already on September 24!
Elektrėniški, September 24 come, see, meet and try the Lithuanian roller in our stadium! Residents of Elektrėnai will have a unique opportunity to see how the ancient and original Lithuanian roll (ripka) is played. Ripka was played in Lithuania in the Middle Ages and was very popular among young people. Modern roller-skating is a dynamic and very interesting sport, its Lithuanian championship is held. September 24 professional roller players will come to Elektrėni and show us live how this game is played. We invite everyone to come, see and try. And maybe there will be willing girls, boys, young people and adults who will dare to start playing this great game and will establish the first Lithuanian roller team in Elektrėnai.
The event is free. We invite you to actively participate, have a great time and win prizes.
Exercise will be held during the event. Exercise will be for everyone, regardless of age, social status or level of athleticism.
After the exercise, there will be a roller skating competition. Anyone from the age of 8 can participate in the competition.
Prize winners in each age group will be awarded.
After the roller skating awards, there will be an exhibition roller competition.
The participants of the roller skating competition will compete in the following age groups for boys and girls:
8-9 years old;
10-11 years old;
12-13 years old;
14-15 years old;
16 years and older.
